Data we process
Orbs processes information needed to operate accounts, competitions, security, support, eligibility, and transaction history. This can include X account identifiers and profile information, public wallet addresses, qualification records, game telemetry, competition-integrity signals, transaction signatures, and basic request/device metadata.
Age and eligibility
Before a wallet creates or enters an Orb, Orbs asks for a date of birth in a neutral age screen. The date is used to determine whether the user meets the 18+ requirement and is not stored in the eligibility receipt. The retained receipt records the wallet, confirmation time, and versions of the Rules, Terms, Privacy Notice, and eligibility standard that were accepted. If the required legal versions change, a new confirmation may be required.
X qualification
Orbs uses X OAuth for the connected profile and explicit host-follow action. To verify an entry post, Orbs either reads a small set of the connected account's recent posts or, when the player pastes their public X post link, reads that exact post through the official X API. Orbs checks the expected Orb link and entry text and stores the matching post identifier with the qualification proof. Orbs does not need your X password.
Wallet and blockchain data
Public Solana addresses and transactions are visible on-chain and may be permanently available from third parties. Connecting a wallet does not by itself give Orbs custody of wallet funds. Signing actions should always be reviewed in your wallet.
Gameplay and anti-abuse data
Orbs stores gameplay, input, replay, connection, and validation telemetry needed to operate games, determine legitimate results, investigate disputes, and detect impossible, automated, duplicated, or manipulated play. To protect competition integrity, Orbs may evaluate gameplay behavior together with account, wallet, session, device/request, and network-related signals. These signals are used as integrity evidence and may be combined rather than treated as conclusive in isolation. Security and enforcement records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, review restrictions, prevent ban evasion, or protect the service.
Long-term aggregate analytics
Orbs keeps a durable per-Orb analytics record for legitimate business and network measurement. It can include the funded prize and fee values, public host X username, launch time, unique waiting-room visitor count, qualified-entry count, unique live-player count, verified winner and game-result timing, claim status, public transaction signatures, and linked host-post identifier. Temporary identifiers used to deduplicate waiting-room visitors and live players expire after the relevant competition window; the aggregate counts remain so Orbs can measure historical product performance without retaining participant-level identity bindings indefinitely.
Service providers
Orbs relies on infrastructure and APIs for functions such as hosting, authentication, X verification, blockchain RPC access, pricing, security checks, key management, and storage. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Public information
Orb pages, host X identities, prize information, public X posts, waiting-room chat messages, and on-chain transactions may be publicly visible. Waiting-room chat displays the connected X username rather than the participant wallet address and recent messages automatically expire from Orbs storage. Orbs minimizes wallet-address display in its public interface and prefers public X usernames, but Solana addresses and transactions remain independently visible on-chain and through blockchain explorers.
Your choices
You can choose not to connect X or a wallet, but competition features requiring those proofs will not work. Where applicable law provides access, deletion, correction, or similar privacy rights, Orbs should provide a support channel for those requests, subject to data that must be retained for security, legal obligations, or immutable blockchain records.
